This is probably the most widely 'shipped couple for Code Lyoko of them all. It's hard to tell what makes this pairing
so loveable... maybe the fact that both of these characters are strong and respectable, and therefore they should be paired,
right? Whatever it is, it just makes you wish they'd hurry up and kiss already.
It seems as if the U/Y relationship
has been going on since the pilot episode, "Garage Kids." Ever since then, they've been through a lot together; things that
have made them closer, and things that have pushed them apart as well. There has always been jealousy between them because
they always think the other is going to date someone else. (Ex, Ulrich and Sissi, Ulrich and Emily, Yumi and Theo, Yumi and
William...)
The biggest event in the Y/U relationship was, without a doubt, the almost-kiss in "Routine." There have
been other, smaller things though... from just the tiniest blushes to the most intimate and tender moments, they've always
made fans grin and gawk at their subtle love for each other.
